Yeira Marie was born in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.  She is a Cum Laude graduate of Georgia State University, where she received her B.S. and M. Ed in Early Childhood Education with ESOL and math endorsements. 

 

 

She also received her Ed. S in Early Childhood Education at Georgia Southern University. She is a proud alumna of Teach for America. Yeira is one of the Title III Instructional Specialists in one of the largest school districts in the state of Georgia, where she provides instructional support to mainstream and ESOL teachers throughout the district level, and school-based instructional and program support, community-based learning, Title III parent engagement sessions and professional development courses including but not limited to SIOP, Making Content Comprehensible to English learners, and Applied Linguistics through Metro RESA. Watching her teach and coach, it is evident that she has a heart to empower educators, children, and their families.
